Sean Lau Photoshoot - A pictorial

The package only allowed a selection of 5 images but I had too much problem deciding so I had to bring the whole cd back home to select and that means buying back ALL softcopies. The 5 selected images will go through another layer of editing and 1 of the selection will be blown up to 8R tabletop. Tough decision... if only we had brought along more sets of clothes for the shoot we'd have even more images. This is another 遗憾美...

Meanwhile, enjoy :)

Xiang Ying at the playground - A pictorial

Daily activity after dinner :)
Taken with ISO400, no flash. My old compact sure can't capture shots like this.

Terrible 2 came early!

What's that? So messy and some more on AJ's dining area floor... *Clue: Not pick-up-sticks*

What's the little girl doing there? With tears in her eyes and on her face... *Clue: Not fall down*

Yes that was her doing - grab the pack of pasta from the dining table and let the contents out on the floor. Mama was too late to stop her and by the time mama wanted to grab it back, damage has been done. Of course there was a big scolding and ordering her to "go away" (back off) and "sit down", "cannot touch". Long and loud session of crying I don't know why. Simply put it a crying marathon. I didn't even spank her. Maybe she knows that she has done something really bad and she was scared?

To make things worse, it is Angel's Hair here. So easible breakable... I was thinking Devil's Hair instead.

Happy birthday Chloe!

Chloe turns 1 today :)

Big party at home...

Ok this is the first time I saw something so creative and nice. A nicely printed cupcake tower which you can self place the cupcakes anyway you like. Maybe I'm too suaku but I have never seen anything like that.

In fact it's so nice I decided it deserves multiple uploads. Haha...

The nicest cupcake with pretty ballerinas.

Someone got seated on a settee!

Our 2009 babies and mamas :)

Present for little Chloe - personally wrapped by AJ. Neat or not?

It's a pair of Robeez soft soled shoes :)) *currently my favourite brand for kiddy shoes*

Pretty pretty. Wish they came in adult size or Doraemon could make it big big big for me!

But but but... the opening of the shoes quite small and quite difficult to fit Chloe's feet inside. Hope Chloe and mama Pauline likes it :)

The bo chap girl doing the hoop activity

Look at the way she's doing it; simply without any enthusiam.
By the way she can't differentiate big to small and colours yet. She was just putting back whatever is laid out for her.

The girl in Leopard Preens

New romper (mama's latest obsession: Leopard preens), new shoes and new haircut. Hair done by her 姑妈, K's sis. Mama so reluctant to cut her hair but she keep pulling off the hairclip so that will be the best way. Razor a bit only but looks gong gong. Still cute la. What was she doing? Admiring her new shoes? Yes, she loves her shoes and will patiently sit down when asked to. She knows going gai gai after putting on.

Rare occasion she remains seated after putting on her shoes.

Modelling her new shoes. Wa!! (pic taken with flash)

Cheeky and pretty :)) I'm not too sure if it was the flash that caught her or her usual cheeky close eyes expressions.

Goup-ed this pic from Den's fb. Such a sweetie :)

Back to the highchair and self-feed for breakfast

I say "back to the highchair" cuz my little girl refused to sit in there for a period of time. She would struggle so much and siam the spoon whenever I fed her. Quite distressing that I had to put her to eat in "free play" style; meaning she would roam about as she likes with me chasing her around to feed. Very tiring I tell you!

However, I do try to put her back inside on/off so she still remembers that mealtime means sit inside highchair. And just recently I gave her small pcs of bread, biscuits or fruits to self-feed for breakfast. Initially I used a colourful pick for picking up the food and put the food in a feeding bowl but that's was a little too "interesting" for her so I went back to let her use her fingers. The picks and bowls can be re-introduced later on. That said, I was quite proud of the initial times she was able to eat from the pick :)

This is a pic of XY eating her Farley's biscuit which she doesn't really like much. She's such a small eater that 1/2 a pc of Farley's can tong for the next 4hrs. It's amazing right? I'll give her her morning milk (150ml ebm) at 9am and breakfast about 1hr later. Her lunch would be at least 3-4hrs after her breakfast time which is right after her morning nap (usually 1130am-2pm, plus minus). Well, her best record was having 130ml milk at 9am and NOTHING in between and slept from 12pm to 330pm. When I gave her her lunch at close to 4pm (1st warm meal of the day), she even not very keen to eat. And when she woke up from her nap, she didn't even cry in hunger. That's my eat-like-a-bird daughter for you :S

Recent cooks

AJ's been rather lazy in the kitchen department these days. READ: No new menu. Probably next week onwards I will have to do "Cook of the week" and then later on turn into "Cook of the month". Stilllll, (in Ris Low's tone) *LOL* I managed to dish up a simple prawn dish. Recipe from Wokking Mum.

Garlic prawns. Doesn't look very good here but extremely tasty. You should see K's surprised look when he was eating it. That is called the 报应 of looking down on his wife's cooking! My method was not so right but after some enquiries with WM herself, I found out the reason why the garlic bits don't stick to the prawns. I had the prawns fully cooked while it should have been 70% cooked and drained, then thrown back into the pan WITH the pre-fried garlic bits so that they will stick. 2 whole cloves of garlic were used. Yums. I love golden garlic bits.

Not really a "cook". I was doing cold noodles for my lonely lunch and thought I should capture the nice colours of the ingredients. Using the super macro function of my camera. Not too bad :)
