Konbanwa! We are about to check out from this warm and cozy guesthouse in Hakone.

The checkout time in Japan is generally 10am.
We arrived late last night at about 740pm but already had 2 baths.
Night time bath was indoor. We had the outdoor bath early this morning before breakfast.
The water is different from the hot spring in Hotel Yamatoya. Mineral content is different so the water here is more chalky while the other is clearer.
The Japanese are very polite and orderly compared to um... our locals.
We are heading to eat the long-life eggs soon and will leave for Tokyo late afternoon.
I'll miss Hakone...
Saving up for our next trip already.. hehe :P
P/S: Jeanne, if you are reading this, we were at Gotemba Premium Outlets yesterday.
The place is ok-big, not too fantastic and things not that cheap.
I bought a card holder as I really needed it if not will not buy anything at all.
Anyway I said to Keith, skip anything that's above ¥2,000 (and that's practically 99% of the things)
You can consider to skip it if your schedule is packed.
I've got you a map of the outlet in case you want to go.
See you back in sg.
Bye
